The Australia Tibet Council approached Digital Storytellers with the idea to launch a storytelling project ‘Our Tibet Story’ which would tell the personal stories of Tibetans living in Australia and share the messages of hope, resilience and courage. With a limited budget for the project, we mentored The Australia Tibet Council to run a crowdfunding campaign on StartSomeGood which succeeded in raising over $25,000. We partnered with the ATC to produce a website and four video stories allowing Tibetans to tell their own story.
