Art As Action Live Scribe – Seljak Brand and Schoolhouse Studios

This gathering was an exploration of the role that art plays in addressing the challenge of our climate crisis. Art and creativity critiques and envisions, it’s builds new, re-invents and inspires – all essential components of transitioning to new ways of doing things. Furthermore, storytelling creates connection between people and groups which is core to effective action. So as creatives, how can we contribute to the transition to the new society and economy we need? And how do we build resilience as we begin to feel the impacts of a heating planet? This live scribe was created over a 1 hour session, which included a presentation and a panel conversation comprised of people working in different fields of art and design, from architecture to product design.
