The Office of the Children’s eSafety Commissioner is a one-stop-shop for online safety. It provides Australians a range of up-to-date online safety information and resources, coupled with a comprehensive complaints system to assist children who experience serious cyber-bullying online.
Office of the eSafety Commissioner and Netsafe NZ co-hosted the Online Safety on the Edge conference. This three day event – kicking off with a jam-packed workshop day, followed by two epic conference days – looks beyond the current strategies addressing online harm, and explored the latest experiences, research and global perspectives in online harm and resilience. The conference also casted a forward lens on future developments and approaches that will put us ahead of the technology curve.
Digital Storyteller equipped students with storytelling skills in a workshop before the summit, then co-created this event story with them. The video was edited on site (by us) and screened live at the closing of the event.
