Bite by Bite: COVID-19 Youth Food Hamper Program

COVID-19 pandemic stopped many youth outreach programs in their tracks. How did a small community team use this major disruption as an opportunity to pivot and reach their local youth in even more engaging ways than before? Alcohol and Drug Foundation’s (ADF) Queanbeyan Community Drug and Alcohol Team (CDAT) launched an innovative new program providing food hampers to participants and live cooking demos with smart interactive videos to help them learn to cook and keep in touch with their peers and mentors.
