What makes this project special 

In today’s fast-paced digital world, it is increasingly difficult to build real human connection and engagement. Particularly as workplaces move to predominantly virtual environments, the need to facilitate connection and engagement amongst peers is crucial.

At the end of 2020 Workfront approached Digital Storytellers, wanting to host a story-driven experience for their employees to reflect on the tumultuous events that had passed throughout the year, nourish connection and celebrate the year’s end.

Digital Storytellers designed a 90-minute ‘Virtual Campfire’ for team members to gather and share stories. The facilitation team took participants through a process of individual reflection, sharing in small groups and open discussion, using story and narrative as a sense making tool.

Throughout the workshop, our wonderful live-scribe Devon, brought the group’s stories to life in a visual graphic, to harvest insights and spark further discussion.

Digital Storytellers also edited a 3-minute ‘highlights’ video, with key ideas from the session.
